Happy Valentine's Day :) From a dinner date to a girls' night out, this outfit is so versatile for almost any plans. As you probably can tell by how happy I am, light pink is one of my favourite colours. This blush top paired with a hot pink vest is the perfect mix. The fur on the vest adds to the winter season while still remaining colourful and cheerful. An opt from the typical dresses or skirts is a slim fitting pair of jeans (which can make you feel even more sexy). Speaking of sexy... heels are a necessity: they accentuate the legs and just something about walking in them makes almost every girl feel powerful.

Winter fashion can get a bit dreary from time to time. All black, navy blue, olive green... sometimes colour is a necessity (can you tell I'm excited for Summer? :) I was inspired by a YouTube video (I'll leave a link below) and how playing with colours and textures can be used to embrace creativity. I must say that I'm guilty of being concerned about what's "in trend", but at the end of the day fashion is about telling a story and expressing yourself. All in all, wear what makes you happy and have fun with it. Styling doesn't have to be so strict and I'm still learning to accept this.
In this outfit, I mixed and matched a few items. Orange and blue is one of my favourite combination of colours, and surprisingly doesn't get worn that often. I tried to embody my take on a "watered down" avant garde outfit. I honestly, wouldn't wear this piece out, but putting it together helped me smash the uninspired rut I was in :) Thanks for reading. When accessorized perfectly, they are so fashion-forward and chic for the winter time. A quick and effortless way to jazz up any all black outfit is to add some boots, either brown, grey, green, blue or even pink (wear what your heart desires). With all that said, for this look in particular I paired a simple v neck long sleeve top with black jeans, a slim fitted jacket. I, of course, had to add a choker. This specific one is such a twist from the standard chokers. The bow adds to the feminine side of this attire and contrasts the heavy duty boots. All in all, feel free to accessorize in your own way; whether it be with a colourful scarf or an extravagant hat.

Different colours like this purple top is a simple but effective change to the full black outfits that are frequently worn. I opted for blue jeans, for the same reasons, and paired it with black booties and a black parka jacket. Parka jackets are the best option for this bitter weather. These shoes are probably not the best for the snow but they're so gorgeous, that's all that matters ;)

It's as if it breathes new life into a simple outfit. In this piece shown, I kept the main focus on this stunning blue velvet top. The colour immediately caught my attention and was calling my name (or my purse perhaps). In the wintertime, I've found that layering different clothing items is the best strategy. By doing this, it not only ensures intense warmth and security but it also gives the impression of a well-thought-out ensemble. For layering, I added a grey and black waterfall cardigan to incorporate different tones and lengths; and a black cable knit infinity scarf for a varying texture. Other garments such as: a winter jacket, jeans, boots, and gloves were integrated to complete the wintry attire. Thanks for reading. Leave a comment below.
