COACHELLA IN CANADA
Hey, welcome back to my fashion diary. As Coachella was last weekend, I became extremely inspired by the bold fashion. Although it is a music festival, people tend to wear Bohemian styled outfits. This includes tonnes of jewlery, flash tattoos, fringe, floral, broad hats, etc. I, thus, incorporated my own style into the famous "Coachella Fashion". Here, I wore this gorgeous floral top which gives off a feminine vibe, as a result of the peplum cut. I love that it isn't tight fitted which makes it oh so comfortable for a day out. I paired this with high waisted jeans shorts. The multiple buttons on the waist adds a nice touch and is a spin from the regular one button shorts. To enhance the effortless and flowy appearance of this outfit, I added a long mesh cardigan. This colour highlights the cream in the top given it a fresher, more airy look to combat the dark blue base. This fringe bag has to be my all time favourite. It added dimension, as well as texture to the whole outfit. I of course can't forget about my strappy sandals; they definitely tied the whole look together. It adds different shapes and can be tied in numerous ways. They are in style this spring/summer and I 100% would recommend you buying a pair. That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by. HEY!
So, one of the most popular colours for this year Spring and Summer is mustard. It's a ver vibrant colour which can look amazing with every skintone. Today, I paired this gorgeous mustard off the shoulder top with some blue jeans. The off the shoulder trend has to be one of my favourites so far, as it is so feminine and Blue jeans are a great alternative to black jeans when trying to stray from the old winter habits. Jeans with rips in the knees are also instyle at the moment. They add the right amount of edginess to whatever look you're trying to portray. Gold, gold and more gold. Because this top was mustard (yellow), I decided to enhance it with gold accessories: a choker (because I love the edge that they bring to a somewhat girly outfit), sandals, a belt, and big hooped earrings. As it was around TWENTY DEGREES today, I went for more of a summery look. :) I tried to keep it somewhat of a mix as it still tends to get chilly. I wore some black high waisted jeans to not only keep me warm but also to bring out the colours of this blue floral top. I found that when I paired this top with blue jeans, it didn't "pop" as much as I would have liked. The white sneakers added a spring/ summer vibe to this look as opposed to black ones would have. As I mentioned earlier, the weather changes quite frequently, therefore, a blue jeans jacket is a must to this outfit. It can be draped over the shoulders, worn around the waist, or of course worn on! Jeans material is often not seen much in the winter months, so this is definitely the time to pull them out of your closet ;) Finally, I added a few accessories to tie everything together: a black and white watch, blue headband and some silver earrings. So it's Spring Break and it's definitely getting a little cooler outside :) Because of the change in weather it may be a bit harder to incorporate the two seasons' styles as we are transitioning from winter to spring. However, this can be done by layering;: dresses, tshirts, tights, jackets, and coats are a few options. In this look, I paired a lavender bodycon dress with a black and blue faux leather jacket. The colour lavender is very "spring" as pastels are in style this upcoming season. The leather jacket and these black wedge boots are items of winter fashion. Necklaces, chokers, and watches are optional but as I always say, jewelry pulls the entire look together. Although it is very cold outside, it may be extremely sunny. (weird right?). Sunglasses are a must; they add a sophisticated look while still protecting your eyes.

Today I went for more of a city vibe (New York to be exact). I love the fashion there and I decided to take my twist on it. Faux fur jackets or cardigans are always a plus when going for a chic style. Black is always my preference, because of how much more of an expense it adds. I definitely can't forget the faux leather tights; they add a little pizzaz, instead of boring black tights or jeans. White t-shirts are a staple for everyone and v necks in particular makes the look a bit more feminine. For shoes, you can never go wrong with black booties; not only are they comfortable to walk in but they also makes the outfit 10x edgier. For jewelry, I added: a black velvet choker, silver necklace, black watch, silver earrings, and a faux septum ring to add to the edginess. And of course, there's nothing a little red lipstick can't solve. p.s. I dyed my hair. Leave a comment below, and share this look w all your friends!
